Several beauty pageants will be held in conjunction with the 2022 Sharp County Fair, which will be Monday, July 4, through Saturday, July 9 at the fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Road just off Hwy.167 about four miles south of Ash Flat.

To enter any of the County Fair Pageants you must be a resident of Sharp County. We are sanctioned by Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant so their general rules also apply to our fair.

The first pageants of the week will be the Miss Sharp County Pageant, Junior Queen and Rodeo Queen on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The competition will be privately judged during the afternoon. At this time the contestants will be interviewed by the judges, in private also. The evening gown competition will be at the fairgrounds beginning at 6:30 p.m. Junior Queen is for young ladies ages of 14-17 years old and Miss Sharp is for young ladies ages 18-23 years old. Rodeo Queen is for young ladies ages of 14-17 years old.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2022 there will be the Baby Miss Sharp and Baby Mister Sharp contest. These are for babies Birth – 12 months inclusive. Immediately following will be a Toddler Miss Sharp and Toddler Mr. Sharp contest held. These are for children ages 13-23 months inclusive. Last pageant of the night is Teeny Miss Sharp and Teeny Mister Sharp for 2 years old inclusive.

On Thursday, July 7, 2022 there will be the Tiny Miss Sharp and Tiny Mister Sharp. The ages are 3-4 years old inclusive. Immediately following will be Little Miss Sharp and Little Mr. Sharp contest. These are for children ages 5-6 years inclusive. Last pageant of the night is Petite Miss Sharp and Petite Mister Sharp. The ages for this pageant is 7-8 years old inclusive.

On Friday, July 8, 2022 there will be 3 pageants. Petite Young Miss for ages of 9-10 years old inclusive. Immediately following will be Young Miss. The age for this contest is 11-12 years old inclusive. Pre-Teen Miss Sharp will follow Young Miss. Pre-Teen is for young ladies ages 13 years old.

The pageant begins each night at 6:30 p.m.You must be pre-registered for each of the pageants on or before June 17, 2022. Miss Sharp, Junior Queen and Rodeo Queen must pre-registered by June 17, 2022. The Miss Sharp County, Junior Queen and Rodeo Queen will be pageant dress and active wear (black shorts and any color sports bra)

The entry fees for the contest are $20.00 for all divisions except Miss Sharp County, Junior Queen and Rodeo Queen fee is $25.00.

There will also be a Photogenic Contest for each of the Pageant age groups. You do not have to be in the Pageant to enter the Photogenic contest. The entry for the Photogenic will be $10.00. You may enter a black & white or color picture. It must be at least a 3x5 and no bigger than a 8x10, with or without a frame on it. The deadline to enter photogenic is also June 17, 2022. Your picture can be pickup up the night of the fair that your age group is held. Your photo may be either personally taken or done by a photographer.

All entry forms postmarked after June 17, 2022 will be charged a late fee of $10.
